Hobbies:  Showing livestock, FFA, and 4-H.

Why did you join FFA?

I had the opportunity of being involved in the middle school FFA Chapter and being part of the high school level FFA.  I served in officer positions in each chapter.  My father influenced me because he is a business owner serving the agricultural community.  Through joining the FFA, I have been able to represent the qualities of premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.

What has been your most challenging FFA experience?

My most challenging experience as an FFA Officer and as a FFA Member is the development of my public speaking abilities.  Through the FFA I have gained key skills and abilities that have been able to help me through this.

Who has had the greatest impact on your life?

I can't really name one person who has had the greatest impact on my life, because really there have been many.  The Smyrna FFA Advisors have guided me through my FFA career.  My parents have supported me in everything I do.  Most of all, my family and friends support me in everything I do helping to mold me into the person I am today.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?

I would donate 1/4 to the Relay for Life. Then I would buy a pink Hummer and a gooseneck EBY trailer for my show animals so that my father to pull behind his truck. After I bought those items, I would invest my money for the future.

Final thought

Becoming a Delaware FFA State Officer has been a dream of mine since I was in the 7th grade.  Finally achieving my goal, I have an amazing opportunity to serve the First State! I hope to get to see everyone during chapter visits, banquets, and conferences!
