How did you first learn about the FFA?
I first learned about FFA from my sister. When I was in Elementary school I had the opportunity to see my sister be in FFA and take this organization to great lengths. Once I saw all that she had done and the opportunities available in this organization, I was hooked and could not wait for when I could get to High School and join.
What has been your most challenging FFA experience?
My most challenging FFA experience was when I attend WLC (Washington Leadership Conference). I was not the most outgoing person at the time and I had to adjust to being with hundreds of FFA Members I did not know and try to make friends. Luckily we all had one thing in common; we all wore the blue corduroy jacket. Needless to say I adjusted and consider my WLC experience to be one of my most memorable FFA experiences.
What are you most looking forward to during your year as a State Officer?
I have dreamed of being able to be a Delaware FFA State Officer and being able to serve you the members. I am most looking forward to going out into the chapters and getting to know members stories, stories of life or FFA Stories. Everyone has something to tell and I am excited to hear what the members have to tell.
