Why did you join FFA?
I joined the FFA my freshman year of high school just to help me ease into the transition. I thought it would give me some fun stuff to do after school and maybe make some new friends.
What has been your most challenging FFA experience?
My greatest challenge has been to overcome the fear of being judged. Going into high school I was very quiet because I did not know what people thought of me. As the time went by, I pushed myself to do more CDEs that involved public speaking and to take on more leadership roles. Doing this has really changed me as a person.Who has had the greatest impact on your life?
The individual that has had the greatest impact on my life has been my mom. She has been there through thick and thin and has fully supported me in everything I do, both morally and financially.
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?
I would pick my 9 favorite people and give them each $100,000 and with the last $100,000 I would keep for myself to buy 10 acres of land.Final thought
To all the members out there....don't be afraid to join a committee, participate in a CDE, or run for office. It is up to you to grab the opportunities that are presented to you. Then when and if you grab them, so many doors that lead to new and better opportunities will be opened. What I guess I am trying to say if if you want it...go for it!!!
